The KT-T835 wheel clamp tire changer is built to handle aggressive usage. Its alloy steel jaws are treated with carburization to a depth of approximately 0.8 to 1.1 mm and then quenched, giving the outer surface hardness while preserving inner toughness. The jaws include protective covers to help avoid scratching or marring alloy rims. The mounting head is manufactured from solution-treated stainless steel and polished for smooth interaction, and a plastic rim protector helps shield delicate wheel finishes during operation. Clamping ranges on the KT-T835 are broad and accommodating.
